Jamie Anderson is Professor of Leadership & Strategy at Antwerp Management School and Visiting Professor at INSEAD. Named as a “management guru” in the Financial Times, Jamie has also been included on the list of the world’s “top 25 management thinkers” by the journal Business Strategy Review. Jamie’s research and teaching focuses on the interconnectedness between creativity, innovation, leadership and change. His unique presentation style and humour have seen him described as a Stand-up Strategist.
As one of the world’s most influential business minds, Jamie is sought after as a speaker and advisor to many of the world’s leading organisations. Jamie’s articles have appeared in some of the world’s foremost international journals, including MIT Sloan Management Review, California Management Review, and the Journal of Business Strategy, and his ideas have been quoted in outlets such as Business Week, the Economist, Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.
Fred Bosman studied Medicine at the University of Leiden (MD 1971), where he also earned his PhD degree (in cytogenetics, 1976) and trained as a pathologist. He was staff pathologist at the University of Leiden, Professor and chair of Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Maastricht, Faculty of Medicine of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Director of the University Institute of Pathology and Professor of Pathology at the University Medical Center (CHUV) of Lausanne in Switzerland, now emeritus. He is Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) and foreign correspondent of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences.
Fred Bosman’s research activities (combining diagnostic and experimental pathology) focused on the biology of digestive tract cancer, notably Barrett’s esophagus and colorectal cancer, with a strong emphasis on the development of molecular diagnostics. He has written over 350 original publications and over 50 book chapters. Fred Bosman was Series-coeditor of the 4th edition of the WHO Series ‘Classification of Human Tumours’, the international standard for Tumour classification, and co-editor of the Volume on Tumours of the Digestive Tract.
Dr. Sebastian Bardosi is a pathologist, innovator, and founder of Power Report Systems GmbH, specializing in the integration of dynamic structured reporting to transform pathology. He earned his MD in Medicine from the University of Pécs in 2013 and has held key leadership roles in prominent institutions across Germany.
Since founding Power Report Systems GmbH in 2020, Dr. Bardosi has been dedicated to addressing critical healthcare challenges, such as staff shortages, by developing innovative reporting systems that ensure standardized, high-quality medical communication. His solutions set new standards for precision, efficiency, and accessibility in pathology labs.
As CIO of Sonic Healthcare (since 2023), Dr. Bardosi leads the digital transformation of pathology, implementing artificial intelligence (AI), IT management, and automation technologies to enhance laboratory workflows. His expertise in LEAN methodologies and focus on standardization has resulted in significant improvements in efficiency, precision, and scalability, allowing labs to handle growing diagnostic volumes with speed and accuracy. These advancements not only reduce turnaround times but also ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for patients.
Dr. Bardosi’s work in multiple high-throughput laboratories specializing in Histology, Cytology, and Molecular Diagnostics highlights his commitment to merging medical expertise with cutting-edge technology. By integrating scalable automation and digital solutions, he has transformed these labs into models of standardized, efficient operations, setting new benchmarks in the pathology industry. His focus on standardization ensures that diagnostic processes are both consistent and adaptable, improving patient outcomes while preparing labs to meet future challenges.
Sandrine Florquin (1965) received her MD degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) in 1990, her “Thèse d’Agrégation de l’Enseignement Supérieur” from the same University in 1995, and her PhD degree (cum laude) from the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) in 1997. In 1998 she was board certified in the Netherlands in Pathology, and in 2001 in Immunology.
Since 1998, Sandrine Florquin is staff member of the Department of Pathology in het AMC. In 2007 she was appointed Professor of Pathology in the University of Amsterdam. She is the coordinator of the European Renal Pathology Course. She sets up a research group which is dedicated to unravelling the immunological mechanisms involved in renal injury and repair and to design new therapeutic tools for renal diseases. She is the author of more than 400 scientific publications.
Pierre studied Medicine at the University of Brussels in Belgium, where he graduated in the 90s. He went on to pursue a PhD at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, followed by a successful training and career in pathology at the University of Berne, Switzerland. His work in routine diagnostic and research, with a focus on tissue engineering, has been truly commendable and he obtained a “Private Dozent in pathologie” title from the same university.
In addition to his medical achievements, Pierre is also a born entrepreneur. He completed a MBA at the London Business School and founded several ventures in the field of medical diagnostics. Notably, he established the Cartilage Repair Society, a non-profit organization based in Switzerland with over 1500 members worldwide.
Pierre’s interest in digital pathology and automation has been longstanding, and he has played a key role in implementing digital workflows in routine practice. His dedication to advancing the field of pathology has not gone unnoticed, as he was recently nominated to The Power List of pathologists in 2024 in the section “Heroes of Pathology.”
Outside of his professional endeavors, Pierre enjoys traveling, cooking, and modern art.
